Our Story
In 2000, Jannie van Wyk founded Media Film Service in Cape Town with a vision to support the booming commercial film and television market. What began as a dedicated rental house quickly became the go-to partner for productions across South Africa, earning a reputation for excellence and reliability.
As our success grew, so did our reach. We expanded nationally, establishing a second facility in Johannesburg to better serve productions across the country. In 2013, recognizing our potential and commitment to the industry, eMedia Holdings acquired Media Film Service, providing us with the resources and backing to continue our mission of delivering world-class equipment and service.
